BDance Academy is owned by Holly and Sergiy Bondarenko, a professional dance couple who have many years of experience in the dance and entertainment industry. BDance Academy offers adults of all ages and abilities the chance to dance and perform in many different dance styles. The aim of each class is to have fun, meet new people, build confidence and develop dance skills at every level regardless of age and experience.

Blue Apple

Blue Apple, Blue Apple was founded in 2005. Through the skills and enhanced confidence gained through the arts we seek to change the way people see and understand learning disability. Further, to raise the ceiling of expectation for people with learning disabilities.

We provide a programme of dance & drama sessions tailored to individual needs for over 70 people. All activity is designed to build and sustain improved confidence and physical and mental wellbeing while, at the same time, producing exciting, engaging and inspiring art.

Discarded Nut Theatre Company. In the summer of 2010, Noël Jones and Harriet Morris combined forces to take The Discarded Nut Theatre Company to new heights. Sharing a love for theatre and the arts, they wanted to create a safe, supportive and creative environment for people from across Hampshire to further their skills. Working primarily with young people, Noël and Harriet hope to re-awaken peoples love of theatre and prove what talented, motivated young people and adults can do.

Encore, Award-winning ENCORE Youth Theatre are based in Winchester and specialise in all aspects of musical theatre. We want everyone who joins us to achieve their greatest potential; growing as unique individuals as they develop both performance and inter-personal skills. All of this takes place in a fun, safe and welcoming environment with a group of young people who, very quickly, become “family”. Florian

Florian, established in 1985 by the Principal, Annette FitzGerald, The Florian School of Dance is one of the most successful and well respected schools in the area. Annette and her fully qualified team provide a high level of teaching whilst keeping classes fun. The school offers a wide variety of classes which are either exam focused or attended just for pleasure. Ballet classes for 3 year olds up to any age, RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern & Tap, Jazz and Contemporary dance. We love what we do and we aim to inspire others to work hard and reach their full potential.

Gymco

Swim with GymCo celebrates its 21st birthday this year, operating from Kings’ School Pool since 1996. We have a proven track record supported by excellent facilities, instructors, ratios and price. We are a fully insured Swim England affiliated swim school, offering classes from pre swim through to the advanced swimmer, rewarding our swimmers progress through a Swim England accredited award scheme. Teachers within the swim school keep up to date with their qualifications and we hold regular staff meetings to discuss and inform on the newest technical changes within the sport.

R&R Sports Coaching

R&R Sports Coaching Ltd was formed in March 2009 by company directors Ryan Chard and Robbie Elliott.  R&R sports coaching will operate a coaching Programme within the Hampshire Region – our service to Schools, Colleges and Universities will focus on grass-roots football and multi-sport activities for children who want to learn the FUNdamentals of sporting activities and for the elite athlete who requires that advanced level of coaching.

Wessex Swim School

Wessex Swim School started in July 2004 as a private swim school in Winchester with just 3 teachers and a handful of clients. The swimming teachers noted how well children in smaller classes improved at a much faster rate than those in his larger classes and set maximum numbers in every class to just 3 pupils. Unlike other swim schools where helpers are brought in to lower class ratios, all members of staff are qualified teachers, insured and have an enhanced CRB check. Classes will only increase to 5 pupils after they have reached Stage 5 and the class will be extended to 45 minutes.

Winchester Basketball

Winchester Basketball. The mens first team and play in division 1 of the Solent Area League. The mens second team were the original WCBC team, starting out in 2006 they have competed in all 4 divisions of the Solent league.

The Juniors teams from the Under 11s to the Under 16s boys and girls have all had success in the Solent Junior League, they look likely to continue to do so as the Junior section of the club continues to grow. This year the U14 boys enter the National League for the first time.


Winchester City Flyers FC

Winchester City Flyers FC, Winchester City Flyers was set up as an all-girls football club in 1996 to support and encourage female sports inclusion. Over the last 11 years we have grown from 30 players, to over 200, with 3 Ladies teams, youth teams at every age-group from Under 9’s to Under 18’s and 2 boy’s teams. This is a reflection of the growth of the Women’s game not just locally but nationally, as the talent goes from strength to strength.

WCPSC is a registered Charity (Charity No. 1153439) which exists to create opportunities through swimming. We have been teaching Winchester to swim since 1901 and have been at the heart of creating swimming opportunities ever since. We run swimming activities for the whole community from those youngsters learning to swim, through development and competitive squads, performance swimmers, adult squads, even adult swimming lessons and school swimming.
