The reverend Sally Dakin and her husband, Tim, the Bishop of Winchester, invited pupils from Kings’ School to play for two evenings at Wolvesey Castle whilst their guests arrived for dinner. Both evenings were warm and dry, allowing the pupils to set up their instruments and perform outside for approximately one hour. Tom Wilson added a jazz dimension to the evening with his trumpet, and Alexander Pinney played some popular Einaudi on the piano. Sasha Davies and Annabel Bush sang a couple of contemporary songs whilst playing the piano, and Jennifer Newbery and Isobel Pott sang a duet with some beautiful harmonies. There were also performances from Daniel Shrimpton on the clarinet and Isobel White on the violin. The pupils performed very well and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!
